“What’s Up With The Raw Foods Movement” Video

Raw Alliance at ExpoWest

Laura Fox and Daya Hamwi of Raw Alliance, Best of Raw and Visionary Culture is heading to ExpoWest to speak with raw foods companies representing product there. The aim for the 2011 ExpoWest experience is to garner manufacturer, retailer and distributor support for a more comprehensive, integrated expression of the raw foods products industry at buyer focused expos such as ExpoWest, and to also speak with manufacturers, ingredients suppliers, retailers and distributors about the Alliance’s plan to formulate a set of graduated standards for consideration by raw foods packaged goods and raw foods movement leaders.

The initial aim of the Alliance is to create these graduated standards for use on raw foods packaged goods items, thereby informing consumers and retailers of the various aspects of ‘rawness,’ and other criteria, of any given food product.
